Mars, Incorporated is a global manufacturer of food, pet food and other food products that with $ 30 billion in annual revenue in 2008 is ranked as the sixth-largest privately held company in the United States, according to Forbes. Its headquarters are located in McLean, Virginia, United States, being the company wholly owned by the Mars family. Mars has been evolving for more than five generations to create products and services that earn the love of people (and their pets).
Among its most famous brands are Mars bar, Milky Way, M & M’s, Twix, Skittles, Bounty (chocolate) and Snickers. It is also a manufacturer of pet food such as Royal Canin, Whiskas, Chappi and Pedigree.
In 2019, a need arose at the Mars plant in Santa Catarina, Nuevo León. The Skwinkles line was presenting contaminating material (ferrous and non-ferrous) which was generating a great decrease for them, around 20% of finished product was being rejected by their metal detector.
When they were dismayed at the problem, they came to us to quote a Free Fall team, which we took on the task of selecting appropriately and quickly. They accepted the proposal and within a few weeks we delivered a completely new metal detector suitable for them, this reduced the rejections of the finished product by 95%.
The five principles Mars, Inc. govern the company at all times from the CEO of the company to the promoter in stores, and these are the following: Quality, Responsibility, Mutuality, Efficiency and Freedom.
“Thanks to your advice, we were able to solve this great problem that arose. Likewise, we know that your products are just what we need, since all the detectors that work in our plant are GRACIDA for their quality and their Technical Service, as well as their advice. by their representative ”- Ing. Jorge Pérez (Project Engineer in Latin America)
